Privacy Policy
Effective 18 September 2026.
Minus5 is a camera app for iPhone. It has no account, no servers, no ads and no analytics or tracking. The developer does not collect, store or receive any of your data.
What stays on your phone
- Video and sound. The camera and microphone are used only while the camera screen is open. The last few seconds are held in the app's storage and constantly overwritten; the clips you keep stay in the app until you delete them.
- Photos. Minus5 only adds a video to your photo library when you tap Save to Photos. It never reads your library.
- Settings and a diagnostics log (temperature, battery, screen brightness and camera mode, noted every 30 seconds while the camera is on). They stay on the phone. The log leaves it only if you send it yourself from Settings → Help → Share diagnostics, and then only to whoever you choose.
Purchases
Minus5 Pro is sold through the App Store. Apple handles the payment; the developer never sees your payment details or Apple Account. The app only asks the App Store whether Pro is active.
Apple
If you allow it in iPhone settings, Apple shares anonymous crash reports and usage statistics with developers. That is covered by Apple's privacy policy: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
